If I donate blood, how much of it is native?

It hit a point after the needle went in, that the tube (with my blood running throught it) started warming up. That settled out my mind, by taking me out of the situation. I started thinking; that was life coursing out of my arm and into a bag. Not just as a liquid in my veins. But as blood cells and molecules bouncing off each other. There is energy coming out of my arm. Life.
